Alert 3007
Database Missed Backup

Alert 3007 is a SQL database alert and is triggered when dbOmnibus detects a database has not been backed up in over a day.

dbOmnibus evaluates the last time a database had a FULL or DIFFERENTIAL backup made.

This alert should be investigated if the database is scheduled for regular backups.

This alert can be overridden for databases that are not scheduled for backups (non-production, development, test etc).

This alert may fire in conjunction with alert 3003.

Remedies:

  1. Investigate the backup plan for the server and databases to ensure it is functioning correctly.
  2. If the databases has been dropped from the server, other alerts may fire. See Alert 3003.
