dbOmnibus Requirements
sysadmin
Requires sysadmin level permissions to install and run. It also utilizes SQL Agent, DBMail and Operators.
SQL Versions
Supported versions are: SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, 2008RS, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2025.
Note: Not all features apply to or are supported by all SQL versions. dbOmnibus will automatically omit unsupported features where they are not supported.
SQL Editions
Supported SQL Server: Editions are: Enterprise, Standard, Developer and Express*.
Azure Managed Instance are also supported.
Integrations
If integration with Ola Hallengren’s solutions is used, see the related documentation.
If the email functionality is used (recommended), email must be configured on the SQL Server.
